The comedy production team Very Angry Neighbors went beyond their usual zaniness to release a holiday music video.

The video features a poor, winged buffalo who is continually being shot out of the sky as Ryan O'Quinn, Jeff Cannata, AmyJo Steele and Danielle Weeks sing nonsensical lyrics praising the spirit of the buffalo.

The video features outrageous special effects and green screen tricks to fly, sing on mountaintops and get licked by a giant tongue!

The VAN series "Invisible Friend" is featuerd as editor's choice on the site's home page and called "too good to overlook" with "hilarious dialog and flawless production value".

Every once in a while, someone comes up with a premise for a web series that is so simple yet so demented that you can’t believe no one ever thought of it before — or that someone actually did. Such a premise is at the heart of Invisible Friend. Seemingly nice guy Gabe (Jeff Cannata of Revision 3’s awesome geekfest The Totally Rad Show) wakes up after a night of drunken post-party sex with longtime friend Allison. Only Allison is dead, and despite remembering nothing of how she got that way, Gabe’s pretty sure he killed her. He calls his buddy Dan (Attack of the Show YouTube Person of the Moment Ryan O’Quinn), who — though horrified — agrees to help hide the body. Things go awry, of course, and madcap hijinks ensue.

Invisible Friend screens at NY TV Fest

A special screening of the new series "Invisible Friend" starring Very Angry Neighbors will screen Tuesday night at the New York Television Festival. The presenting company, Independent Comedy Network, will screen the pilot and second episode at:

The series revolves around Gabe, who wakes up disoriented following a night of revelry. He’s not sure what happened last night, but one thing is for sure… his invisible friend is dead!

Crackle.com featured VAN's "The Sex List Game" today as the top pick on the Moving Targets channel of the site.

The channel is described as the "exclusive and best-of-the-web sketch comedy that’s as funny and fresh as your parents say Saturday Night Live used to be."

Crackle, a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, is an entertainment network that showcases and distributes video programming.

VAN will be featured on the new CW television series "Online Nation" this Sunday night at 7:30 / 6:30 Central. The new weekly series spotlights the most popular videos in the online world and also features an innovative interactive element as viewers will be able to see what others are saying and communicate live on the air.

VAN's "Jeremy" video starring Ryan O'Quinn, Danielle Weeks and AmyJo Steele makes it's television debut on the show this Sunday night.

VAN founding member Ryan O'Quinn is featured in The Malibu Times Newspaper on news stands today. The weekly publication calls Very Angry Neighbors "multitalented" and "the newest stars of...YouTube".

The feature story, which appears on the front page of the publication's "Life and Arts" section, also shows various behind the scenes photos of VAN as well as publicity stills. The writer says their popularity on the Internet has launched the group on "a successful career path".

Following a recent appearance on Good Morning America, the Los Angeles-based comedy team VAN (Very Angry Neighbors) will appear this week on “Inside Edition”, television's longest-running, top-rated and most-honored syndicated newsmagazine.

Very Angry Neighbors has caught the eye of Good Morning America
and will be featured on the program this Wednesday, December 6th.

Entertainment Weekly reports that online videos are

The Los Angeles-based comedy writing/production team known as “Very Angry Neighbors” (VAN) was recently named by YouTube and Panasonic as a “Best Comedy” on the site.

“Home Time”, the second installment from V.A.N., has been linked to hundreds of MySpace pages, various websites and tens of thousands have viewed the video. Feedback on the comments section of YouTube were noteworthy and caught the attention of YouTube executives as well as Panasonic.

“Home Time” was named in the top 25 videos in the YouTube/Panasonic-sponsored contest in 2006. YouTube viewers voted the video #1 in weeks 1 through 5 of the competition and V.A.N. members won prizes from Panasonic.
