Within hours of the release the video was featured by YouTube editors on the Comedy page and in less than 6 hours following the release, the video received honors from the web portal YouTube:

"The Malibu Times" features VAN in news story

VAN founding member Ryan O'Quinn is featured in The Malibu Times Newspaper on news stands today. The weekly publication calls Very Angry Neighbors "multitalented" and "the newest stars of...YouTube".

The feature story, which appears on the front page of the publication's "Life and Arts" section, also shows various behind the scenes photos of VAN as well as publicity stills. The writer says their popularity on the Internet has launched the group on "a successful career path".

Us Weekly, AOL, YouTube recognize "Father's Day" video

This week's "Us Weekly" magazine cover story is on celebrity babies and the magazine's official website features VAN's celebrity baby video "Father's Day of the Future".

The video was also featured this week on AOL and received more than 200,000 hits in a 24 hour period.
